Sonoma Harvest 2026: Wineries & Wine Experiences

The Sonoma Valley always feels alive during harvest season, but for 2026, the energy is more intense, more electric than it has been in decades.

An unseasonably warm March pushed bud break several weeks ahead of schedule. On July 16, the first Pinot Noir came off the vines in the Russian River Valley, the earliest start in at least 40 years.

The silver lining of this season is that it’s expected to produce more concentrated, more aromatic wines with exceptional character, structure, and fruit quality.

At Gabriel-Glas, we believe unexpected, unpredictable moments like these are what make life interesting. These moments invigorate and inspire us, reminding us how wonderfully alive we are.

If you’re visiting Sonoma this season, expect a completely different experience from a typical harvest trip. We’ve curated this list of Sonoma destinations that are as unique as this historic season. Each sparkles with life in their own way.

An Exceptional Glass, Skillfully Made

The historic 2026 Sonoma Harvest reminds us that pressure and intensity can yield extraordinary results. Michelangelo fought impossible deadlines and agonizing discomfort to paint the Sistine Chapel. Van Gogh channeled torment and anguish into The Starry Night. Picasso created Guernica amidst chaos.

The craftsmen at Gabriel-Glas know this well. Practicing an all-but-extinct craft, they still shape our Gold Edition glass by hand from beginning to end, stretching the limits of the material to create a vessel that’s impossibly gossamer thin and lighter-than-air, yet remarkably durable and adaptable to every wine.

Prost!
