Shannon Staglin

Founded in 1985 Staglin Family Vineyard takes pride in the tradition of family ownership and participation. Their mission is to produce wines that reflect the distinctive character of this historic Rutherford Bench estate. Their other mission is to find the causes and cures for mental illnesses/brain disorders through their non-profit organization, One Mind Institute.

"Shannon Staglin’s résumé goes well beyond her last name. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in cultural anthropology. She was a harvest intern in 2001 under winemaker Andy Erickson, and the next year she started working in the winery office on the marketing, hospitality, consumer and trade sales sides. But…in 2008, she was recruited to create the marketing program for Wells Fargo Family Wealth, providing solutions to ultra-high net worth clients on matters such as complex estate planning.

In 2011, she returned to Staglin Family Vineyard armed with honed skills. In her first year as general manager, she led the winery to record revenue performance. She was named president in 2012.”
